We summer in N. Wisconsin and found Hustads at the Shell Lake Art fair a few years back. It is by far the best tasting our maple syrup we have found. In addition, they also have a fabulous Maple Mustard. Last winter we needed a few jars in FL, for friends and I contacted Hustads to have them shipped to me. They were so accommodating. They carefully packed and shipped them to me, and enclosed an invoice so I could send them payment. That's Wisconsin Nice. Be sure to try their Maple candy also.
We toured the western half of the State of Wisconsin in September and stopped in at the Hustad's Sugar Bush by chance. We were welcomed to their farm like 'long lost cousins' and visted with the Hustad's all morning. They are rightly very proud of their farm and maple syrup operation, and provided us with a get deal of information about how maple syrup is gathered and cooked down. We got back home to Texas and made pancakes from scratch the next morning. We were really delighted with our maple syrup from Wisconsin! Really a joy to taste. Check your labels. Hustad's Sugar Bush is pure maple syrup! No high fructose corn syrup.
I tap trees with Paul M and we take our syrup to
Hustads and i believe he is one of the best around for processing even if the price aint right hes the one to go to. I live about a mile from there and all across Barron county i hear Hustad is the best with his skill and time he puts into his passion of the maple syrup.
I live in East Texas but have family in the Cumberland area. Several years ago, while driving thru the area, I noticed the sign out on the highway, so I stopped in and bought some maple syrup. Wow! Once you have tasted Hustad's pure maple syrup, you never go back! I get a jug or two every time I come thru the area. I highly recommend their product and they are great folks too!
If you never tasted pure maple syrup, then you haven't enjoyed one of the best things in life! It's a disgrace to pancakes everywhere to use anything but the real thing. Thanks for all your hard work to bring happiness to our table.
My husband and I live and Minnesota and decided to take a weekend trip one day a few years back. We headed towards Wisconsin and ran across Hustad?s Sugar Bush. We purchased a gallon of their Pure Maple Syrup and found it to be very delicious and now we return every time we need another gallon. Allen & Linda are very friendly down to earth people and they make you feel right at home whenever you visit their store. They also sell other goodies in addition to their maple syrup. I would highly recommend that you check them out.
